There is now also the new Cine Version of this lens featuring the integrated follow focus rings and step-less aperture adjustment making this lens even more attractive to any filmmaker. …g down the lens helps, but you have to be at f/5.6 to get rid of it almost completely, which is less than perfect. And at the end of the day, how much difference does actually f2.5 makes comparing to f2.8. …s, turning on the gh2’s crop mode (approx 2.9x), the whole configuration becomes a super compact telephoto video setup, which is ideal for animal shooting, discrete and easy to move around. The lens balances really well with the gh2, focus ring is smooth, and the manual aperture, made it a very pleasurable lens to make video with.
