…s (similar to Canon EF 50mm F1.4), therefore I used to use this lens at around F2-2.8 for best results, but as video above hopefully proves, Lens Turbo II really improves the sharpness at F1.4 to the point where I’m perfectly happy using it wide open if I need to. …in future I’m planning to fit PL adapters (removable mounts) on them for easier compatibility with various cameras. Some of these lenses you’ll find on ebay will already have PL mounts fitted on to them, which will potentially save you $100-200 on removable PL mounts. My set has also been modded with 80mm fronts and metal follow focus gears. …sound wide, on Super16 sensor this lens is more of a medium wide, great all-rounder. Even with its downsides, the images it produces are worthy of its price (as long as it’s under $200).
